Wood Personnel Services is searching for Senior Electrical Engineers in Nashville and several areas of the country. This position directs technical activities on projects and ensures that policies and procedures are followed throughout the project. They assist the Project Manager in pricing and staffing and in bringing the project home on time, within budget while adhering to high technical standards. The EE must be able to coordinate with clients, research codes, design system concepts and prepare project specs. The ideal candidate will have a M.S degree with six or more years experience or a B.S. with ten years experience. They must also have a current Professional Engineer License.

Senior Electrical Engineer -- must hold a Professional Engineering License
The Senior Electrical Engineer directs the technical activities on assigned projects and ensures that the technical staff understands and adheres to the discipline technical policies and procedures. Participates in the development of technical studies, investigations and designs in support of assigned projects. Assists the project manager in the scoping, pricing and staffing of projects and in the production of projects on time, within budget and of the highest technical quality. Develop design approaches and concepts on assigned projects .Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines. Execute specific engineering studies and design analyses. Review shop drawings, records changes and assists in communicating directly with supplier, contractors and client representatives. Data and Information Developer (Healthcare)
Position is in the Southeastern US. This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing corporate business intelligence & reporting applications that satisfy business requirements and meet performance expectations. The developer is also responsible for analyzing and defining reporting requirements working with the business analysts and identifying the proper data sources. The developer monitors the reporting environment, configures new reporting applications in the system, and does performance tuning for existing applications. Primary Responsibilities: Works with departmental management & the team lead to maintain and support efforts to design, develop, and implement enhancements and upgrades of the online reporting (WebFOCUS) environment. Provides technical assistance for the implementation of documented reporting applications and improvement strategies. Reports problems to the software vendors, provides requested documentation, and tracks the problems to resolution. Monitors the reporting server (iWay/EDA) proactively for any issues and addresses access and performance issues. Performs analysis and design of new reporting requirements to understand the impact of the proposed modifications including the data sources and new data requirements and hardware and software requirements. Analyzes requested reporting requirements and proposes solutions. Assists with the creation of logic charts, record formats, MFD (Focus Definition) and detailed programming specs. Develops/Creates data sources to connect to the databases to retrieve required data efficiently. Works with the DBAs to insure proper database indexing and optimized access paths. Develops test cases and scripts, execute the test plans, and evaluate results. Requirements: Must have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field is required or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience with Information Builders FOCUS, WebFOCUS, and Reporting Server (iWay/EDA) products and environment. 3+ years of systems analysis. 3+ years of experience using SQL / Relational databases (MS SQL Server and DB2). 1+ years of experience using HTML and JavaScript.5+ years of experience in a structured programming environment. Experience with mainframe applications development, VSAM, and DB2 file/table processing preferred. Exposure to Object Oriented programming techniques. Position is in the Southeast. Healthcare industry. This position is accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and implementing technology development and implementation projects as assigned and that require detailed coordination across the organization and often with supporting project stakeholders (external business partners and vendors). This position works closely with the Vice President, Technology and Development to ensure project plans are developed and implemented closely aligned with corporate strategic objectives. This position will also be responsible for facilitating and leading system requirements gathering efforts and working with designated business area contacts to effectively bridge gaps in business needs/drivers and technology solutions/alternatives development. This position will lead and facilitate assigned technical staff in accomplishing assigned project tasks and will engage in technical brainstorming and solutions development to achieve outcomes that meet business requirements. Primary Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business or Management or related field of study is required. Must have at least 5 years of experience effectively leading and managing Information Technology related projects. Oracle Datawarehouse DBA
1. Plan, design and implement data warehouses and data marts including capacity planning, schema design, batch and real-time load processes, data archival and backups. 2. Work closely with the Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to define and build data warehouse data marts including data mart schema design, ETL processes and meta data repositories. 3. Define, implement and maintain ETL procedures and schedules to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data in the data warehouse and various data marts. 4. Troubleshoot and recover down data warehouse and data mart systems. Follow contingency plans for each system (backup, recovery, failover) as needed. Analyze and resolve end user and system reported problems. Communicate problems and their resolution to the team. 5. Follow and maintain policies and procedures to ensure data warehouse availability and keep each data warehouse system tuned for optimum performance. Monitor the health of each warehouse database and the success of each backup. 6. Ensure that database improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. 7.
